What are the shelves made out of?

Our shelves are high 3/4 inch thick M2 Industrial Grade Melamine.

Melamine is a generic term used in the woodworking industry for material that is used for building cabinets. The material is made using sustainably grown wood chips combined with resin to create a very stable board that receives a smooth, moisture resistant, and cleanable surface.

We use 3/4” M2 Industrial Grade Melamine with InCopper™ antimicrobial technology, that protects the surface against fungi and mold that can cause stains and odor. This technology is ideal for interiors where humid conditions are likely to expose the surface of the panel to harmful microbes.

Our background is in large commercial cabinet/casework projects. We have been providing cabinets to business's, schools and medical facilities for 30+ years, and in most cases the architects specify melamine for the cabinet material.

What are your cabinets made out of?

Our door/drawer fronts are made out of Powder coated MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard). Powder Coating has been the quality standard for metal parts for years, we have just taken that same technology and applied it to wood.

This gives our doors a very durable and scratch resistant finish to an already solid and stable door. This is the perfect finish solution for the garage environment.

How does melamine hold up to liquids and chemicals?

The melamine surface is very scratch resistant and chemical resistant so it will hold up to liquids (water and household chemicals) very well. If spilled liquids are not removed and find their way into unprotected areas without the melamine finish (such as unfinished edges) the material can swell like any wood product.

Our melamine is unique because it is the only melamine with InCopper™ Antimicrobial Technology, that protects the surface against fungi and mold that can cause stains and odor. This technology is ideal for interiors where humid conditions are likely to expose the surface of the panel to harmful microbes.

How high are the cabinet legs?

Accepted Answer

Our cabinet legs are 4" tall with an additional 2" of adjustment giving you a leg that is 4-6" tall. For unique situations we also have 2" Leg extenders, these can be stacked to gain even more height.

What are the depths available for the tall cabinet?

Accepted Answer

We have four depths available for tall cabinets which are 12.75", 16.75", 23.75" & 29.75".
