Each cabinet legs holds 400 lbs.

What are the depths available for the upper cabinets?

Accepted Answer

We have 3 depths available for upper cabinets which are 23.75", 15.5" & 11.5".

What type of screws can be used to screw the cabinets to the wall?

Accepted Answer

Length and type of screws depend on the type of wall construction.

If the wall construction is cement, then use a TapCon brand cement screw, making sure the screw goes into the concrete a minimum of 1".

If the wall construction is wood studs and drywall we recommend Washer head or Wafer Head cabinet screws available at one of the home centers. The screw must go at least 1" into the wood stud (this dimension does not include any sheeting or drywall that may be over the studs, you must add extra length for sheeting). Keep in mind that there may be more than one layer of drywall on the wall, this is especially true for the wall between the garage and the house if the garage is attached. Code in many areas requires two layers of drywall to create a fire wall between the garage and the house.

Question 5

Sinks that we recommend for our base cabinets

Accepted Answer

If you would like to add a sink to one of our base cabinets, we suggest that the sink dimensions are 20"W x 20"D x 10"H including the faucet. The width of the sink can be wider but should be at least 3" less than the width of the cabinet.

Below are a few sink recommendations from different vendors that will work with our base cabinet that is 22.5"D.

How to screw cabinets to each other?

Accepted Answer

We highly recommend the cabinets to be screwed together to avoid any movement or gaps between cabinets. We provide MS-8MMX1.125WSCR Drawer Front Screw to attach the cabinets. The screws should be placed in the front of the cabinets. One screw on top front corner of the cabinet and the front bottom of the cabinet (like show in the picture below).

Are the cabinets shipped assembled?

Our cabinets are unassembled and shipped flat. In most cases homeowners find assembly easy with our instructions and Video Tutorials. As an alternative, some people will hire a handyman they know, or find in their area.

What are your cabinets made out of?

Our door/drawer fronts are made out of Powder coated MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard). Powder Coating has been the quality standard for metal parts for years, we have just taken that same technology and applied it to wood.

This gives our doors a very durable and scratch resistant finish to an already solid and stable door. This is the perfect finish solution for the garage environment.

The cabinet boxes are made out of Melamine which is a generic term used in the woodworking industry for material that is used for building cabinets. The material is made using sustainably grown wood chips combined with resin to create a very stable board that receives a smooth, moisture resistant, and cleanable surface.

We use 3/4” M2 Industrial Grade Melamine with InCopper™ Antimicrobial Technology, that protects the surface against fungi and mold that can cause stains and odor. This technology is ideal for interiors where humid conditions are likely to expose the surface of the panel to harmful microbes.

Our background is in large commercial cabinet/casework projects. We have been providing cabinets to business's, schools and medical facilities for 30+ years, and in most cases the architects specify melamine for the cabinet material.
